Umm Al-Sheif (Arabic: الم الليي) is a locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).Umm al-Sheif is a small residential area in the west of Dubai. It is bordered on the north by Umm Suqaym, northeast by Al Manara, south by Al Barsha and Al Qouz b west by Al Sufuh. It is bounded to the north by the D 92 highway (Al Wasl Road) and to the south by the E11 route (Sheikh Zayed Road). A local road (Al Thaniya Road) separates Um al-Shaif from Al-Manara. Umm al-Sheif is a developing, affluent residential complex with villas and townhouses. The system of local roads primarily corresponds to the grid plan, but residential settlements are usually divided into sections. Roads with even numbers run from northeast to southwest, and roads with odd numbers run from northwest to southeast. The Emirates International School is located in Umm al-Sheif.
