Jebel Ali is a coastal area located in the south of Dubai. The easiest way to find this area on the map is to look at one of the several man-made wonders of Dubai, the artificial island of Palm Jebel Ali. Directly opposite it is the residential and industrial sector of Jebel Ali. The palm island itself, Palm Jebel Ali, the average in size in the Palm Island family along with Palm Jumeirah and Palm Deira, is already fully completed, but not yet inhabited, but the port of Jebel Ali is the largest sea terminal in the Middle East and the ninth largest container port in the world. It has the largest artificial harbor in the world and can accommodate vessels of any size. A significant advantage for Jebel Ali is its location in the free zone of Jebel Ali. Founded in 1985, the free zone currently includes more than 7,000 companies in the field of trade, logistics, manufacturing, as well as in the field of services and maintenance. The port of Jebel Ali and the adjacent free economic zone have received the common abbreviated name Jafza, and today represent a thriving business community that provides jobs for 135,000 people and attracts more than 20% of foreign direct investment in the UAE. More than 50% of Dubai's total exports pass through this port. Initially a developed industrial developed area, since 2015 the area has been actively populated. Whole new neighborhoods with developed infrastructure and their own advantages have grown up here. Geographically, this area includes the IMPZ FEZ, Discovery Gardens, Al Furjan, Dubai Investment Park (DIP), Wasl Gate, but the main one is Downtown Jebel Ali. Thus, in the complex, if we count all residential communities in the aggregate, 124 buildings in 92 residential complexes have been built or are being built in Jebel Ali.
